Here on the Seacoast, young professionals ages 25 to 40 make up a distinct demographic within the community. Active, educated, and driven, the one thing that may be lacking for this group is a strong sense of community. With that in mind, six young professionals in Portsmouth have come together to host an annual event focused on having a good time, while doing some good in the process. Held in May during "prom season," attendees of the second annual Seacoast Prom will be encouraged to scour eBay and their closets for the best disco-infused bell bottoms and leisure suits they can find. This year, the goal is channel your inner-John Travolta circa 1977's Saturday Night Fever. All proceeds will benefit New Heights.
